Concept
The region displays an agglomeration of heritage architecture styles and influences that is reflective of a typically hill station life and atmosphere. The only visible solid volumes of the development are restricted to the lower level, below the dense canopy cover.
Additionally it renders minimal disturbance to the forest floor with a series of structures between the forest canopy. Open spaces like verandahs, pool, cafes fill in the framework.
Result
The dense canopy cover forms an additional layer of shaded comfort in this climate. It protects the activity & recreation zones from the harsh sun and heavy rains. But it also creates an ideal realm for living in close connect with its surroundings.
